What we collect and why
When you use the quote form, message us or call us, we receive the details you choose to send (name, phone number, email, location, the type of business you run and what you need help with). We use them only to reply, quote and provide the services you ask for. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the practice.
Where it goes
Form submissions are emailed to us through a transactional email service and a copy is stored securely for up to 12 months so no enquiry is lost. WhatsApp and text messages are held on our business phone. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not send marketing. Client work is covered by our engagement letter and our obligations as accountants, including anti-money-laundering identity checks.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. On preview versions of the site a small script records that a page was opened so we know the design was viewed; it does not identify you by name.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time by emailing info@aco-accountants.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
